Members of Rivers State COVID-19 Task Force Recount Their Ordeal at Prodest Motel, Alode

Some individuals of the Rivers State COVID-19 Task Force on Monday explained how the PDP Eleme Youth Leader, Mr Princewill Osaroejiji led numerous thugs to inflict injuries on them on the premises of Prodest Hotel, Eleme.
The Task Force individuals who are hospitalized at Famo Clinic, Eleme informed reporters that they met Prodest Motel in operation.
Speaking from his health center bed, Friday Osaro Oloka stated that when they got to Prodest Motel, a celebration became ongoing. He stated that they approached the resort manager, who sought permission to call his proprietor.
He stated: "The manager called and the PDP Youth Leader got here with a few boys. They beat us severely.
"The PDP Youth Leader asked us why we got here to the lodge wherein he lodged. We advised him we failed to recognize that's where he lodged. Despite that he and his boys beat us till 8pm."
Another Task Force Member, Samuel Ndu admitted that humans had been drinking and partying on the inn while they were given there.
He stated: "The Manager asked us to wait. Thereafter, numerous persons came with the PDP Youth Leader who beat us.
"We were given Information that the hotel has been running despite the order to close resorts etc."
Appollos Orr, a Task Force member who sustained accidents, we went there to check their happen and inquire why the inn changed into operational.
He said: "We were gazing the manifest when we started out hearing shouts from outside. Thereafter, we saw Mr Princewill Osaroejiji and his thugs who beat and injured us".
Dr Emmanuel Ejembi of Famo Clinic said that the Task Force individuals were added into the motel with excessive accidents. He said that they said it become a case of assault.
He stated the Task Force members complained of Fracture on proper knee, pains on their neck and stomach. He pointed out that they may be now safe.
Chairman of Eleme Local Government Area, Philip Okwaraji recounted that the Task-force participants had been overwhelmed up on the Prodest Motel via the PDP Youth Leader .
He stated the State Government issued the Executive Order on 4th May and the Eleme Local Government issued notices to all resorts on May 5th, 2020. He stated each person who flouts Executive Orders is aware of that there will be consequences
